NITRE
Núcleo de Inovação Tecnológica e Reabilitação
The group was created in 2011 and has the objective to develop models and technology in the resolution of interdisciplinary problems on the optics of complex systems with an applied approach. The group interacts with researchers from different areas of knowledge in search of a broad perception of the phenomena studied and thus a construction of models and technology closer to the application. The group developed CVMob software that has been used by professionals and researchers for evaluation and research on motion. It works with ocular screening technologies applied to the accessibility and inclusion of patients with severe motor deficiency in the audiological evaluation service. In collaboration with other research groups develop methods of data analysis in electroencephalography to aid in the diagnosis of diseases such as fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis. In Ecology he develops stochastic models of analysis of the patterns of complexity and connectivity of fragmented landscapes.
